Subscription baiting by Irish Times?

So there I was, listening to Today FM on Tuesday where a few of the shows were picking up on the alternate national anthem for Ireland written by The Duckworth Lewis Method. The song is actually pretty funny, and as it was recorded for The Irish Times, I popped over the website to get another listen and to play it for Mrs. Baz. Unfortunately their audio widget wasn’t working, or so I thought, when you try and hit up the audio URL you get the subscription page for paid content – very sneaky Irish Times.

Strangely, you can access the file by using the mobile domain m.irishtimes.com instead…
