Short, sharp, shock tactics from PlaneStupid on climate change.
We wanted to confront people with the impact that short-haul flights have on the climate. We used Polar Bears because they’re a well understood symbol of the effect that climate change is having on the natural world.
Can’t say I totally agree (Shock, from the Travel marketer!) with the ad. Everyone loves Polar Bears, especially this time of year, so of course this type of ad is going to cause a reaction. Whether or not you can definitely say that flying is the main cause of climate change is up to yourself.
