Short, sharp, shock tac­tics from PlaneS­tu­pid on cli­mate change.

We wanted to con­front peo­ple with the impact that short-haul flights have on the cli­mate. We used Polar Bears because they’re a well under­stood sym­bol of the effect that cli­mate change is hav­ing on the nat­ural world.

Can’t say I totally agree (Shock, from the Travel mar­keter!) with the ad. Every­one loves Polar Bears, espe­cially this time of year, so of course this type of ad is going to cause a reac­tion. Whether or not you can def­i­nitely say that fly­ing is the main cause of cli­mate change is up to your­self.
