New Google Sktool – Search-based keyword tool for AdWords

Google have released their search based keyword tool – Sktool in beta for a few months now.

The tool is only available to UK and US customers (determined by your billing address) and requires you to have your AdWords account linked to your Google account.

I’ve been playing around with a couple of UK AdWords account, and it is a useful tool to organise new keywords. It pulls data from your website, and offers keywords suggestions along with suggested bids.

Other nice features is the filtering and insights, allowing you to drill down and get more specific data.

Export to csv, is really helpful – especially for those who use Google AdWords Editor.

Although not fully rolled out, search results can be tailored to Ireland. I’ve done some sample searches and have found the data to be fairly accurate so far.
