Movie Clubs, Gaming, Podcasting and more

It’s been a little while since I’ve blogged, so I’ll just quickly update on some things I’ve been working on.

Wiffy.ie is a forum based website I created about 2 years ago.

The website is all about Nintendo Wii & Nintendo DS gaming in Ireland, it currently runs around 1000 unique visitors a day from all over the world.

The name ‘Wiffy’ comes from the mispronoucnation of ‘Wi-Fi’ which I heard a few people call it, and found it both funny and catchy

Another small site I recently setup is Dublin Movie Club.

This is a club I setup about 2 months back who go together and watch movies at various Dublin cinemas. We’ve already been to about 6 and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The club is open to anyone, and it’s very easy to join.

Some other things have been happening, I chaired a breakout session at the recent IIA congress on Online Marketing, as well as guesting on boards.ie podcast which was both great fun and slightly surreal.

I’ve also got a number of small projects in the pipeline, which I will hope to update here over the next few months.
