How Many Group Buying & Daily Deal Websites in Ireland?

DISCLAIMER
A few weeks after this post was published, I began working with a new social buying website called GrabOne. The following post was an attempt to crowd source a list of new websites which may not have been well known. I had created a series of posts on group/social in Ireland, but it’s unlikely these will be published now.

It seems like there are new group buying websites popping up every week. I’m compiling a list of all the websites and then will run analysis on the current market for them here in Ireland.

Might be a little bit off topic, but the same trend is emerging in all Europe! I just wander if it still brings value to companies who are trying to get new customers through group buying. I love geting 70% discount voucher for some SPA treatment, but instead of paying the same price next time, I’d rather just look for deal in different SPA ..

    Thanks for the mention Barry,
Some stiff competition there for sure.

    Barry,
    nice compilation, thanks!
Just wondering what the next stage will be, after group buying gets stale, and businesses are looking for a way to get more control over the message and relationship with their customers… :)

    thanks, Roland

Excellent list Barry! I have a list like yours for USA, Australia, NZ eg http://www.LoveOneDaySales.com/, but to be honest your list is better than my UK version! http://www.LoveOneDaySales.co.uk/

Hi Barry, your list needs an update. The link for #4 doesn’t work + several of those sites are clearly abandoned.

  • Jim Reynolds

Also add Redribbon.ie – they do an excellent weekly deals feed.

  • Ronan

Here’s a big list of American daily deals sites http://www.dailydealmedia.com/daily-deal-directory/

  • Neil

you can see the best of the daily deals on http://www.vavavouch.com

  • Steve

I’ve been using Vavavouch recently having unsubscribed from all the daily deal emails because there were too many deals out there! Now I just check vavavouch once a day for the best selected deals

  • Bren

    http://www.TodaysDeals.ie is a great one!

  • Dubo

http://www.online-shopping-ireland.com has discount and voucher codes in its blog

http://www.dealpage.ie seems to have most of the deals from above sites all on the one site.

  • TopDeals
  • Tolaigirl

is there one website that shows all the deals from the different sites?

  • Aidan

http://www.mad4deals.com lists the Irish daily deals that are available from 22 different sites. Today it has a listing of 82 deals. It does not have a full listing of every deal in Ireland as its very difficult to keep up with the number of new daily deal sites that are being created almost “daily”!

does anyone know anything about  that deals of the week web site? you pay €100 per year to advertise your product and can put as many deals as you like on it yourself….do they sell much and do they have a large target market?

  • Stevie3000_99
